The eight individual rooms are tastefully decorated and complete with bathroom/shower, closet with mini fridge and ceiling fan -simple, clean and cozy. The large one bedroom apartment (#9) does have a full kitchen and Japanese tub. Please note: all rooms do not come equipped with a TV, phone or A/C, but do have a radio/CD player and ceiling fan with windows to enjoy the famous north shore trade winds. The Nalu Kai offers guests complimentary secured wireless high speed internet access to enjoy. The courtyard features a 2nd story deck with lounge furniture and ocean/mountain views, 1st floor covered lanai with sitting area and a hammock, separate gas bbq area with a relaxing tiki bar, outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after enjoying the beach, waterfall with pond, and even more lounge furniture- all within a bamboo gate enclosure; the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy! Nalukai Lodge is conveniently located in the center of Paia town. You are just steps away from restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and Paia Bay Beach Park. And because of this ideal location, there is town noise. Please also note, the Nalu Kai Lodge rooms are all NON- SMOKING ROOMS.
IMPORTANT: ***NALU KAI LODGE DOES NOT HAVE AN OFFICE FOR CHECK IN*** PLEASE PRINT THIS FORM AND HAVE IT WITH YOU FOR DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND SELF CHECK-IN DETAILS. YOUR UNIT # IS LISTED AT THE TOP OF THIS INVOICE AND THE UNIT # DOOR WILL BE UNLOCKED WITH THE KEY INSIDE AFTER 3PM, unless we have made other arrangements. LOCATION OF ROOMS: Units 1,2,3 and 4 are downstairs and units 5,6,7 and 8 are upstairs. The large one-bedroom apartment (unit 9) does not have a number on the door, walk straight through gate and follow the pathway between the waterfall and the tiki bar to the single French door with the red curtain- this is #9. The 2BR apartment is located to the left of the waterfall upon entering the property. DIRECTIONS ARE DETAILED BELOW! The property is located at 18 Nalu Place, heart of downtown Paia and due to this prime location and proximity to Hana Highway, these units are subject to street traffic noise and town noise. Persons who are sensitive to noise should be advised that cancellations upon arrival because of excessive noise will not be refunded. Off Street Parking at Nalu Kai Lodge is on a "first come first serve" basis. There are five designated spots: two parallel on the side of the two story building (compact cars only and on the gravel or you will get a police ticket as this is a public road), two in front of the bamboo gate entrance and one parallel spot before the green dumpster. *Please Note: ALL ROOMS AT THE LODGE ARE NON SMOKING! We DO NOT provide daily housekeeping. For stays longer than 7 nights, your room will be cleaned once a week. If you require additional housekeeping services please contact Maria directly for fees and scheduling. Excessively dirty rooms or missing towels/linens/room items or smoking in the rooms are subject to a $45 surcharge taken directly from your credit card after checkout.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is required 8 weeks prior to arrival date for a deposit refund less a $75.00 cancellation fee. If the booking is cancelled within 45 days of arrival, refunds will be issued on a pro-rata basis less $75.00 cancellation fee when/if the space is re-booked.

11am TIMELY CHECK OUT IS APPRECIATED! Please leave your key inside the room with the door unlocked when you depart. If you need a late check out you will have to request one before or on arrival. Late checkouts will be determined by a case by case scenario. Determining factors include, but are not limited to, possibility of booking the night of your checkout, housekeeping schedules, etc. You can guarantee a late checkout by extending your stay to include that night.
Deposit Policy
50% Deposit is due 3 days after confirming reservation. Reservation will automatically cancel if no deposit is received by then. Remaing 50% due 8 weeks prior to arrival. If reservation made within 30 days of reservation- payment due in full.
